I am a 67 year old retiree, a veteran, & as of 6/22, a resident of 5 years, and am partially disabled, due to COPD & peripheral neuropathy. I have always paid my rent early, cared for my apartment & outside grounds as if it were my own. I have always tried to be a good neighbor, helping out whenever I could, and very seldom making any complaints. Anytime management has had reason to look at my apartment, there has never been a complaint. However, yesterday, I was hand delivered a notice to vacate. The reason given was that I was feeding the cats outside Our cat population here has become a problem, primarily due to careless & irresponsible residents either moving away & abandoning their pets, or others just losing interest, turning them loose. Management recruited Sal Cabellero, Pro Facillities Pest Cntrl & I have been helping him round up the cats. He has encountered the same obstacles that I did, where all of the shelters are full & not accepting any more animals. I don't think it's right for a good tenant be penalized when I have tried to do everything I could to rectify the problem I have photographed cats & kittens, Advertised, treated for fleas, Neutered what I could afford, & adopted what I could out - all at my own expense.

Harrassment at fort worth office

i live at adencrest apartments in apt 1117 in f ort worth tx since here ive had my 6th and 7th surgeries on my neck and throat i am a permanent neck breather with no vocal cords today i got a notice to remove unauthorized items from patio all in have ever had is 3 nicely potted plants and a ceramic from went to office and told them i had no such items ever on patio and got laughed at and before that i had someone staying to help watch me and tend to needs i couldn't then had to pay to get caretaker to stay they left got tired off all roaches even when they spray the rosches were here when i moved in i like living here pay rentb keep apt ckean all time and quiet but i don't think i should br falsely accused of non compliance i have several witnesses to the fact including documents about surgeries and dates i don't like to complain but its getting out of hand why they are targeting me i don't know please respond thank you if have to will relocateto another warren properties

Warren Properties - Sherman Oaks CA - Poor Maintenance

What the Heck is wrong with this company???? Are they immune to complaints?? It's obvious that they don't care and don't stand by their responsibilities - but yet we tenants are bombarded with constant reminders regarding rent payments. It seems they only see things one way -THEIRS and as a tenant that has lived in their apartments in Southern California for 10 YEARS I have seen it all. My problem(s) - my neighbors are exceptionally messy, nasty, and very poor housekeeping. I don't care what they do but it's a different situation when it affects me. This fact doesn't bother me - except now, ever since February 2016, I get their surplus bugs. I do not like bugs. They are not part of my rent. I have to constantly be on watch and guard to manage this problem. I complained and requested, in writing, for assistance. I have told them (Management office) that if I need to I will take care of the problem myself and deduct this expense from my rent. I get promises but, as of today - I still have bugs. As far as I'm concerned - they are SLUM LANDLORDS - and they are getting worse. I cannot wait to leave this place, hopefully this summer. I'm sick of this ***. The ceiling above my toilet was about to fall (due to upstairs tenant who walks so heavy my unit is vibrating) and if that had happened I WOULD BE A SCREAMING BANSHEE. I don't play - I'm a disabled Vet and used to getting things done. THIS is nonsense. Don't move here or sign a lease - it's a bit more expensive but you are considered month to month. In the summer the homeless come and bath in our pool late at night. I wouldn't put my toe in that water. They also caused a fire and have cut holes in the fence. One should be able to relax and have piece of mind at one's home. Can't get it here. The Corporation is selfish, thoughtless, unprofessional, lazy and just ridiculous.

I am very concerned. I am q senior citizen living at warren terrace in el paso,tx. There are drug dealers in this complex . I worry about the kind of peoples here thats dealing drugs. Its very scared living like this. I love my apartment. But the mainitance man is the the drug dealer. There are a lot of kids and elder people that live here. And we dont feel safe with all of this going on. I have addressed this with the management with no respond. Are we going to wait for bad to happen. Drugs breed crime. I hope someone can help.

Lying to squelch over $300 in late fees!

Calling corporate in California is pointless. They are never there and only go by what the area manager says, who was never there to witness the events, but speaks like she knows. They let anyone rent from them, and bank on that to accuse all their renters of theft, destruction, irresponsible payments, etc. Whatever dirt they can make up. Sadly, only a portion of their renters do some of those things and the others get lumped in with them. They accused me of having late fees after they knew I worked nights and tried to get my checks into the drop box, and they told me not to worry because they understood. Now the manager is gone, and the absent area manager swears it was never locked (as if she was there to witness it! NOT). It was usually locked, per management, to stop people from putting trash in it. They are putting charges to collections. I am disputing the charges with the credit bureau. These people are a hellish nightmare if you want to keep your life straight and simple.

Apartment manager rarely keeps her posted hours. It is difficult to pay rent as they only accept rent checks face to face in the office when she is rarely there. She has the personality of a total B%^ch. Poorly maintained, bug infested, just a plain dump. Manager cannot make a decision by herself. Has to refer to corporate for all decisons. No flexibility. If you have a choice go somewhere else, do it. This place is the worst in ghetto quality living. This is an old property that has not been remodeled or maintained in decades.

Agree Sara Walker is never in the office and her boss don't do *** about it!!! Never live here and now as I am typing the hot water is out without notice I had to take a cold shower!they are always turning the *** water off and on

they never have hot water. WARNING: Michelle is their Sanantonio , Texas manager and she s a lier- amature-and major gossiper about tennents that she does not like.

She will report false info on you into the credit bureau company. If she thinks you do not like her then she will let loud messy *** punks move in next to your apartment. The place gets their water shut off often and has countless evictions. MaJOR RATSNEST FULL OF FLEE INFESTED FERRELL CATS.

That girl manager Michelle has the owners conned so she keeps her job. An absolute major mistake if you move there!!!!

Warren property managers are the worst. Lazy, liars, and fight with lack of logic in crazy ways without knowledge of facts, even if you're a witness to any situation and tell the truth.

They cause more trouble for people than the cheap rent is worth. They can't understand why their problems with renters are so bad. Well, they cause half of the problems by allowing anyone to stay there. They lump the decent people in with the poor renters and assume everyone is a trouble maker.

Dispute the stuff on your credit. If enough of us do this, I think most people will realize you can't trust that company. Like all property companies, they will milk you for everything they can.

If you end up having to pay them (because you are trying to buy a house, otherwise, screw em), give them $5/mo to shut them up.

I have lived at warren house in baton rouge for 13 years. I have seen managers come and go. But the guy we have now is the best manager we ever had. I can say that when I have a problem he has maintenance to take care of it ASAP. There so fast that there fixing the problem before you can make it back home. Now they have this thing called Rent Payment its very because I work nights and cant get to the office before they close. Besides you cant fault the office. your rent is your responsibility. some people are to lazy for there own good.

Apartment up keep and closing the office early all the time...

5:30 pm went to the office to pick up a package that ups dropped off and no one there door was looked up and it happens all the time.....i know the sign says 8 am to 6 pm monday thru friday and closed on the weekends........

even asked to finish the updating on the apt and they are unwilling to do it plus the upkeep of the hot water take needs to be fixed and they will not even attempt to do it..... bath tub still leaks after the refinishing they did.. there is nothing else to say about this situation and something needs to be done...

This company is the WORST I have EVER had the misfortune to deal with. ALL their properties in the PHX area are falling apart dumps. They hire convicts and wanted felons. Cockroach and bedbug infestations are common. The *** problems are out of control. You're better off living ANYWHERE else. They simply SUCK!!

They're on the way OUT of Phoenix. Found out that out of a four letter rating system, A to D, Warren is a "D".

ALL of their properties are TOTAL shitholes. That's why that *** Tracy is dumping them all. Old Man Warren is likely flipping in his grave.

The PHX area supervisor and the assistant are full blown drunks and likely even more. DO NOT rent from this *** Just heard the big one in the valley just got sold.

Office opened my mail

I have lived here for a long time, and today 11/23/15 when I went into the office to get my package it was opened. Not by me but by someone in the office. I think if they liked what I got they might have kept it, but they had no business to open my mail. That is illegal. The assistant Manager stated he has been there the whole time, but when it was pointed out the box was cut open he quickly changed his statement to he does not know anything about that. I had to check to make sure that the item I ordered was still in there and complete, See picture of cut open box before I removed it from the office. there is no way to upload the photo

Warren Properties sued for 1.5 mil

The lawsuit, filed on April 29, 2009, in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Alabama, alleges that the defendants failed to permit a tenant with a mobility impairment to move to a ground-floor apartment near the front of the building in a 196-unit apartment complex in Mobile, Ala., owned by Warren Village (Mobile) Limited Partnership.

The suit also alleges that the tenant suffered severe injuries as a result of falling down the stairs.

Under the consent decree, the defendants must pay $1,195,000 to compensate the tenant, along with an additional $55,000 in fees and costs to the government. The defendants must hire a reasonable accommodation facilitator to handle requests for reasonable accommodations from more than 11,000 housing units in 85 properties managed by Warren Properties Inc.

in 15 states. The defendants must also attend fair housing training, implement a non-discrimination policy, and comply with notice, monitoring and reporting requirements.
